Overview
The Fundraising Coordinator will play a vital part in increasing funds from various sources to financially support LAFF’s programs. This role involves working with the communications team to manage the donor cycle and identify new fundraising opportunities.
Tasks Summary
- Plan, develop and carry out fundraising activities including grant writing
- Research potential funding opportunities and draft proposals
- Work with the communications team to recognize donors and provide progress updates
- Support the launch of campaigns encouraging fundraising activities
- Maintain and update the fundraising strategy
- Ensure fundraising practices reflect LAFF’s priorities, mission and vision
- Network and forge links with relevant stakeholders and organizations
Experience Requirements
- 6 months volunteer or work experience in fundraising is highly desirable
- Experience with CRM software is highly desirable
Qualification Requirements
• Undergraduate degree in a related field (Communications, Languages, International Relations) or currently enrolled
