Overview

Support strategic deployments with a focus on the JOA centre or support the Coordination Reference Data Management process for LOGFAS M&T Tools software.


Tasks Summary
  • Maintain visibility and coordinate strategic deployment/re-deployment issues, focusing on the JOA Centre.
  • Maintain and update LOGFAS data and verify it with data providers.
  • Assist with interrogating software and ensuring LOGFAS data corresponds with Country Catalogues.
  • Assist HQ staff with data for planning, execution, and reporting of M&T activity.
  • Provide advice on LOGFAS issues and analyse Deployment DATA.
  • Support the Deployment Planning Process in AMCC for MNDDP development.
  • Contribute to maintaining up-to-date lists of points of contact for software distribution and information dissemination.
  • May augment JFC/JWC during crisis, operations, and exercises.
  • May act as an AMCC SME within the JSEC JOC.

Experience Requirements
  • 2 years’ experience with Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training in logistics, transport or related discipline.
  • 4 years post related experience with Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in logistics, transport or related discipline.
  • Profound experience providing support to military movements/strategic deployments and maintaining related data bases.
  • Working knowledge of Automatic Data Processing (ADP) systems.
  • Operational and international experience, ideally in NATO, Joint or Combined Staff (advantage).
  • Familiarity with NATO doctrine, regulations and procedures related to Logistics and Movement (advantage).
  • Familiarity with planning and decision-making processes within NATO (advantage).
  • Mission experience (advantage).
  • Experience in staff operations at Brigade-level or higher (advantage).
  • Experience in deployment procedures and required national efforts to contribute to NATO missions and exercises (advantage).

Qualification Requirements
  • Higher Secondary education and intermediate vocational training in logistics, transport or related discipline leading to a formal qualification.
  • Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in logistics, transport or related discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation.
  • Any further training certificates and courses related to subject field or acquired through NATO (advantage).

Languages Required: • A good command of English both written and spoken.

Remuneration: • 5,112.39 Euro (EUR) Monthly
