Overview

Support the Defence Industrial Production Board (DIPB) in exchanging best practices, providing advice, and making recommendations on defence industrial production, capacity, and procurement issues.


Tasks Summary
  • Counsel and assist the DIPB Chair and Vice-Chair
  • Provide coordination and policy support
  • Draft strategy development, administrative and organisational functions
  • Lead content management for DIPB-relevant information
  • Contribute to the coordination of DIPB Working Groups
  • Provide organisational and policy support to Divisional leadership and Allies
  • Oversee the efficient flow of information
  • Coordinate work for the development of the DIPB agenda
  • Draft speaking notes, decision sheets and other supporting documents
  • Monitor ongoing work in other relevant committees/bodies
  • Ensure online content is up-to-date and relevant
  • Oversee activities to ensure the DIPB delivers on the Strategy and Work Plan
  • Manage and address all practical, administrative and logistical aspects of the Board’s work
  • Track the execution of taskings, implementation of decisions
  • Control the quality, quantity and relevance of input to knowledge management systems
  • Share relevant information across the Division
  • Exchange knowledge and information

Experience Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience, such as organising and carrying out activities within a committee setting
  • Experience working in an international environment in a similar position (desirable)
  • Understanding of current strategic policies and issues relating to the transatlantic defence and technological industrial base and related defence-critical supply chain security challenges (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the civil and military structure of the Alliance, particularly in regards to the overall aspects of the functioning of the NATO Headquarters and the NATO Committee Structure (desirable)

Qualification Requirements
  • University degree from an institute of recognised standing or equivalent level of qualification in a relevant field
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office tools and knowledge of SharePoint

Languages Required: Possess the following minimum levels of NATO’s official languages (English/French): V (“Advanced”) in one; II (“Elementary”) in the other

Remuneration: 5,043.00 Euro (EUR) Monthly
