Overview
Acts as the Special Representative between INTERPOL and the United Nations, developing and maintaining contacts to support INTERPOL's core functions and promoting INTERPOL services and information.
Tasks Summary
- Initiate, study, and negotiate joint political and operational issues with UN representatives and Permanent Missions.
- Represent INTERPOL's image and duties towards the UN Secretary General, UN General Secretariat, its bodies, and Permanent Missions.
- Represent INTERPOL and the EDPP in the analysis, discussion, negotiation, and implementation of joint operations or enhanced collaboration.
- Alert the EDPP on identified opportunities for new collaboration between INTERPOL and the UN.
- Develop and maintain continuous contacts with UN personnel, diplomats, law enforcement officials, and other international organizations.
Experience Requirements
- Senior liaison official role.
- Experience in developing and maintaining contacts with high-ranking officials.
