Overview
This role focuses on research and capacity building related to the safeguarding of victims and practitioners in Crimes Against Children, supporting international police cooperation.
Tasks Summary
- Administer and organize assigned duties based on NCB needs
- Initiate, prepare, and coordinate activities, projects, or police operations
- Coordinate technical support to member countries for safeguarding mechanisms
- Prepare briefing documents and summary reports
- Prepare and submit written communications and briefings
- Review documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures
- Make oral presentations
- Complete and submit activity-relevant reports
- Prepare additional documents as necessary
- Carry out research supporting meetings and events
- Assist with outreach and liaison with stakeholders
- Assist with logistical and general administration of meetings and activities
- Understand specific training and capability needs of member countries
- Develop specialized training courses for member countries
- Analyze pertinent information and disseminate as appropriate
- Link information to develop trends and strategic initiatives
- Liaise closely with experts in member countries and external organizations
- Perform any other duties as required.
Experience Requirements
- At least three years’ relevant experience in law enforcement related to the safeguarding of victims and witnesses
- Proven experience in international police co-operation
- Proven experience in the dev
Qualification Requirements
Minimum of three to four years of education in a relevant field at a university or other specialized higher education establishment
