Overview
Performs hands-on technical implementation of functional solutions for global fundraising staff through Salesforce, focusing on supporting and enhancing the IRC’s Salesforce environment, specifically improving the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
Tasks Summary
- Provide expert-level configuration and support within Salesforce NPSP architecture
- Administer and enhance Salesforce NPSP features
- Collaborate with users to translate business needs into Salesforce solutions
- Act as technical lead for Salesforce support and enhancement projects
- Serve as domain expert for solution architecture
- Support assessment and resolution of Salesforce cases
- Design and develop business solutions using Salesforce declarative programming and administration
- Apply Salesforce Apex programming language, Visual Force, MS tools, API framework, 3rd party APIs
- Architect and develop new solutions using flows, fix and maintain existing global architecture
- Handle select applications, tools and plug-ins within the CRM stack
- Use Salesforce reports and dashboards for operational insight and troubleshoot reporting issues
- Provide technical/admin support and troubleshooting for end users
- Manage upgrade and patch process for Salesforce and CRM application
- Assess third party solutions on Salesforce App Exchange and make recommendations
- Build productive relationships with stakeholders and communicate proactively.
Experience Requirements
- Significant demonstrable professional work experience with CRM and relational databases (non-profit experience a plus) and IT delivery, IT services, and professional services environments
- Demonstrable development experience with Salesforce.org, SOQL, Visual force, and other SFDC based development tools
- Experience with creating views, stored procedures and functions
- Proven experience ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including secure data management.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum: Associate’s Degree
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent experience.
