Overview
The role serves as the focal point for supporting the development of new partnership relationships, programs, and capacity development in Colombia. It aims to strengthen DRC Colombia's partnerships with national NGOs and CSOs within a localized rapid response mechanism.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct and update partner mapping
- Support and lead partnership selection and due diligence processes
- Provide support on partnership documentation (MoUs, agreements, budgets)
- Establish and maintain a partnership database
- Coordinate partner organizational capacity assessments
- Develop capacity assessment tools
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with partners
- Provide hands-on support to partners on capacity-building
- Support local partners’ empowerment in humanitarian coordination spaces
- Lead grant opening meetings with partners
- Maintain a partner report tracker
- Review partner reports and provide feedback
- Monitor partner spending and compliance
- Issue agreement modifications
Experience Requirements
- At least five years of professional experience in a relevant field, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian actor
- Three years' experience preferred with project or program management
- At least three years of experience in working and/or with local partners, implementing localization models
- Significant experience engaging with national partners and local/government authorities
- Demonstrated experience in training and coaching
- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment with competing priorities, tight deadlines, and in a complex emergency context
- Ability to work in an insecure and high-stress environment
