Mozaik will host international ESC volunteers in Samsun, Türkiye, to support youth work with a strong focus on disadvantaged young people and to increase local awareness about European Youth and intercultural learning. Volunteers will actively contribute to ongoing local, national and international youth initiatives, including activities in local schools, youth-focused events, and community-based projects. The experience is designed as a structured learning journey balancing personal development and collective social impact. Through daily teamwork, group-based tasks and participation in seminars and camps, volunteers will strengthen social and communication skills, gain practical experience in the youth field, and develop a deeper understanding of cultural diversity. Mozaik also encourages volunteers to design and implement small personal initiative(s) aligned with their interests, supporting exploration, responsibility, and long-term engagement in civic and democratic processes. Participant profile Mozaik is looking for motivated young people who are interested in social work with children and/or people with disadvantages in general. Volunteers should have good social skills and a working knowledge of English, as they may support activities involving children and individuals with mental challenges. The project values openness, teamwork, intercultural sensitivity, and willingness to contribute to inclusive youth activities in the local community and schools. The profile is not intended to be restrictive; rather, it helps ensure an appropriate match between the volunteer’s interests, abilities and the level of support needed throughout the year. Suitable candidates will be invited to an online interview to discuss motivation, learning goals, contribution areas and practical considerations of the activity.
