Overview
Manage the interface between business units and the Human Resources function by providing strategic HR Client services and driving HR programs and initiatives. Facilitate the identification and meeting of Human Resource needs and objectives of the organization in the client area.
Tasks Summary
- Serve as the lead interlocutor on business cases for new or revised policies
- Advise staff and managers on HR policies, guidelines, and practices
- Provide quality advice to develop innovative HR approaches and solutions
- Manage the implementation of HR policies and practices by managers and HR Focal Points
- Provide technical advice, guidance, follow-up and training as appropriate
- Provide strategic advice on performance management and career development systems
- Manage the implementation of corporate talent management programmes
- Support leadership in strengthening links between individual performance and strategic priorities
- Advise staff on career development and support client managers in developing people management capabilities
- Identify, assess and resolve issues, problems, and conflicts at Regional and CO levels
- Provide support on identifying and managing complex cases
Experience Requirements
- Experience in managing the business-HR interface
- Experience in guiding client managers in applying HR policies and practices
- Experience in strengthening the team's ability to provide value-adding advice to managers and staff
- Experience in supervising a team of Human Resources Specialists and Assistants
