Overview
Support the implementation and development of Community Stabilization interventions in Chad.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in implementation and monitoring of project activities including community-based planning, livelihood and social cohesion
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information/data
- Monitor budget, verify funds, obtain approvals, and update budget information
- Support administrative coordination, liaising with units and external parties
- Monitor field work of implementing partners and support report submission
- Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, tables, and presentations
- Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions
- Respond to information requests and maintain files
- Perform other related duties.
Experience Requirements
- School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage
- Experience in community stabilization, peacebuilding, and durable solutions to displacement with emphasis on community-based programming, gender sensitivity, and do-no-harm
- Experience in the regions of Kanem, Bar el Gazel, and Batha
Qualification Requirements
School diploma; or, Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution
