SENEGAL Great Green Wall National Support Consultant

Support the implementation of the Great Green Wall objectives in Senegal by designing a national strategy and enhancing national coordination.

Design a clear, coherent, and comprehensive national strategy for the Great Green Wall (GGW) Initiative.
Articulate a national vision and define strategic goals for land restoration, climate resilience, and livelihood improvement.
Assess the current status of GGW goals in Senegal, identifying gaps and setting priorities.
Propose governance frameworks for sustainable GGW implementation.
Identify and pursue opportunities for resource mobilization and partnerships.
Support the National Agency of the Great Green Wall in enhancing national-level coordination.
Assist in the establishment, structuring, and operationalization of GGW National Coalitions.

Experience in designing national strategies for land restoration, climate resilience, and socio-economic development.
Experience in assessing current status and identifying gaps in relation to environmental and development goals.
Experience in proposing governance frameworks.
Experience in resource mobilization and partnership development.
Experience in enhancing national-level coordination mechanisms.
Experience in establishing and operationalizing coalitions.
