Support the implementation of the National Great Green Wall objectives in Mauritania by focusing on advocacy, communications, monitoring, and reporting.
Tasks Summary
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of communication strategies to enhance visibility and stakeholder engagement.
- Implement a comprehensive national communication strategy, aligning with GGW regional objectives.
- Leverage traditional and digital media to highlight progress and communicate results.
- Promote data-driven storytelling integrating scientific evidence with human-cantered narratives.
- Support the monitoring and reporting component of the national strategy.
- Assist in reporting against the harmonized Results Management Framework of the Great Green Wall Initiative.
- Provide technical expertise in Monitoring methodologies and tools.
- Strengthen the national GGW agency’s capacity to report through the GGW Observatory.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in the design, implementation, and monitoring of communication strategies.
- Experience in leveraging traditional and digital media platforms.
- Experience in promoting data-driven storytelling.
- Experience in monitoring and reporting (M&E) components of national strategies.
- Experience in reporting against harmonized Results Management Frameworks.
- Experience in providing technical expertise in Monitoring methodologies and tools.
