Overview
Provide project management and coordination support for the "Localizing the SDGs through more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable infrastructure (Phase 2)" project. Support the smooth start-up of project implementation in six beneficiary countries.
Tasks Summary
- Draft and finalize Terms of Reference (TORs) for national consultants
- Support staff in recruitment and selection of national consultants
- Prepare onboarding materials for national consultants
- Support the finalization of financial and implementation agreements between UN DESA and UNOPS
- Coordinate regular planning and monitoring meetings with partners
- Design and establish a sustainable budget and expenditure tracking system
- Prepare clear templates, operating procedures, and a handover note for the budget system
- Prepare the structure, agendas, and concept notes for virtual introductory and awareness-raising sessions
- Develop background materials and presentations for sessions
- Coordinate with UNOPS, national consultants, and focal ministries for sessions
- Prepare brief session summaries
- Develop simple templates for tracking activities, outputs, and expenditures
- Prepare a concise inception-phase report
- Ensure the handover of all tools, documentation, and expenditure-tracking systems
