Tasks Summary
- Design, implement, and monitor communication strategies to enhance visibility, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy for the Great Green Wall in Nigeria.
- Build the Agency’s capacity to communicate results, mobilize support, and disseminate knowledge related to land restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
- Implement a comprehensive national communication strategy, applying existing regional strategies to the national context.
- Leverage traditional and digital media platforms to highlight progress, clarify strategic goals, and communicate results.
- Promote data-driven storytelling by integrating scientific evidence with human-cantered narratives.
- Design a national strategy to guide the implementation of the Great Green Wall Initiative at the national level, aligning with national, regional, and continental commitments.
- Articulate a national vision and define strategic goals related to land restoration, climate resilience, and improvement of livelihoods.
- Conduct an assessment of the country's current status in relation to Great Green Wall goals to identify gaps and set priorities.
- Propose governance frameworks to support the long-term, sustainable implementation of Great Green Wall activities.
