Tasks Summary

This volunteering project is a space to explore who you are and who you want to become. At Youth Centre Ormož, you won’t just support activities—you’ll actively shape them. You’ll have the chance to teach something truly authentic from your own culture, skills, or passions, or to try something completely new you’ve never done before. Whether it’s leading a workshop, organizing an event, or supporting young people through educational activities, your ideas matter here. This project is ideal if you want to discover your abilities in leadership, teamwork, creativity, and communication. You’ll be encouraged to take initiative, experiment, and step outside your comfort zone—while receiving full support, guidance, and mentoring from the team. Learning happens through experience, reflection, and collaboration. For more information and the INFOPACK, contact projekti3@lu-ormoz.si Accommodation, food and transport arrangements You will live in shared accommodation with other ESC volunteers in a friendly and social environment. You’ll have your own private bedroom, while sharing a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and backyard. The accommodation includes essential furniture, kitchen appliances, and Wi-Fi. Volunteers receive a monthly food allowance, allowing you to buy groceries and cook according to your own preferences and dietary needs. Shared meals often become an important part of daily life and team bonding. Training during the activity During the project, you will take part in official trainings organized by the Slovenian National Agency MOVIT. These trainings support your personal and professional development, help you reflect on your experience, and strengthen the skills you gain throughout the project. You will also receive continuous support and guidance from the hosting team. Participant profile This project is open to young people aged 18–30 who are motivated, curious, and ready to learn. You don’t need prior experience—what matters most is your interest in youth work, your willingness to work in a team, and your openness to sharing ideas. You should be ready to take initiative, try new things, and adapt to a new environment. This project is ideal for anyone who wants to explore their strengths, discover their leadership or teamwork skills, and grow through hands-on experience.
