Tasks Summary

Join our Humanitarian Aid programme in Asikuma, Ghana, where you'll immerse in a vibrant community known for its cultural richness. Volunteers will address critical needs in education, healthcare, and community development. Tasks include assisting healthcare professionals, teaching, supporting infrastructure projects, providing language aid, facilitating youth programs, and conducting research. For mor information go to our website: https://www.icja.de/content/freiwilligendienste/programme/humanitarian-aid-volunteering#panel-4930-3 Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Volunteers will enjoy private rooms and proximity to the project, just a 15-minute walk away. Meals will be provided at home by the project in collaboration with ICYE Ghana. Living alongside local and foreign volunteers allows for quick integration into the community. Volunteers will receive a monthly pocket money of 200€. Training during the activity Volunteers will receive pre-departure training online and on-arrival training in the host country. A knowledgeable mentor will support them daily, ensuring smooth integration into community activities. Mid-term evaluation training will occur after 4-5 months, followed by a final evaluation before departure. A follow-up meeting will take place 2-3 months after returning home. Participant profile Seeking passionate, motivated individuals dedicated to youth development, education, healthcare, and inclusivity. Applicants should advocate for equal education access, skills empowerment, gender equality, safe spaces, mentorship, and role models. We encourage diverse backgrounds and genuine interest in impacting Ghanaian youth, girls, and local communities positively
