Overview
The Investment Officer, Project & Corporate Finance will lead and support investment projects and client relationship management for non-sovereign-backed financing operations globally. The role involves conducting research, identifying, assessing, and structuring investment opportunities.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct research on projects and clients
- Support origination and drive execution of investment projects
- Identify, assess, and structure investment opportunities
- Lead project teams conducting due diligence and managing approval processes
- Lead financial modeling efforts
- Arrange and prepare client meetings
- Manage internal stakeholders in executing, implementing, and monitoring investments
- Work as a team player and support department objectives
- Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5-8 years of directly relevant work experience gained at commercial/investment banks and/or international financial institutions
- Experience in structuring comprehensive solutions across financial products using debt, private equity and funds, and/or capital market instruments
- Proven ability to work with private-sector clients
- Experience of working in countries in which AIIB invests
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree, with a master's degree being an advantage
