Internship opportunity within the Economics Department to conduct research and analysis on sustainable infrastructure development and economic growth.
Tasks Summary
- Process and analyse large geospatial and survey datasets
- Conduct analysis using causal inference, machine learning, and advanced statistical techniques
- Develop indicators of welfare and economic activity from satellite imagery
- Document methodology and produce visualizations
- Contribute to drafting research notes or reports
Experience Requirements
Relevant data and analytical support experience in large international organizations, universities, research institutions, think-tanks or financial institutions is a plus.
Qualification Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program or a Postdoctoral Research Fellow program, preferably in economics, development, public policy, finance, statistics, data science.
