Overview
Coordinate and execute the project “Building Resilient Future for Migration-Prone Populations in Georgia.” Strengthen migration governance by fostering private sector partnerships and promoting migration-oriented solutions.
Tasks Summary
- Lead and coordinate project implementation
- Monitor activity implementation against plans
- Analyse implementation difficulties and recommend adjustments
- Research, compile, analyse, and present information on developments
- Monitor budget expenditures and verify fund availability
- Coordinate financial, administrative, and technical aspects
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct capacity building workshops
- Participate in meetings and conferences
- Maintain liaison with authorities, partners, and stakeholders
- Coordinate preparation of correspondence and reports
- Identify and document good practices and lessons learned
- Contribute to SOPs, policies, and concept papers
- Supervise and provide guidance to reporting staff
Experience Requirements
- Seven years of relevant experience with a school diploma; or, Five years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations
- Experience working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups
- Experience in labour migration and skills development is an advantage
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organizations in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage
Qualification Requirements
School diploma; or, Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution
