Overview

Provide technical support for proficiency tests, interlaboratory comparisons, and reference material production. Apply radiochemical methods and conduct radiometric measurements of marine samples.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in organizing and implementing PTs and ILCs.
• Support the production of RMs.
• Conduct sample preparation, radiochemical and radioanalytical analyses of marine samples.
• Carry out ancillary analyses such as grain-size analysis.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Prepare and present technical reports and scientific papers.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in radiochemical and radioanalytical techniques applied to the analysis of environmental samples in the framework of a Quality Management System.
• Working experience with processing scientific datasets and preparing reports.
• Experience in the production of reference materials and the organisation of proficiency tests, or in their use, are assets.

Qualification Requirements

• Completed secondary education.

Contract Duration: 36 months

Remuneration: • Tax-free annual net base salary starting at EUR 49725 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance). • 6 weeks' annual vacation. • Pension plan and health insurance.
