Overview
Conducts open-source research and analysis to enable the production of GEOINT products and integration of open-source information into data-driven GEOINT systems at NATO HQ.
Tasks Summary
- Coordinate integration and exploitation of Open-Source information into GEOINT systems
- Coordinate with stakeholders for definition, prioritization and deconfliction of Data Exploitation projects
- Participate in Data exploitation working group and Innovation board
- Provide advice and expertise on OSINT related working groups and committees
- Conduct open-source research and analysis
- Research, compile, organize and analyze intelligence and information
- Produce assessments, situational reports, maps, charts and specialized dashboards
- Assess information for credibility, relevance and importance
- Keep GIS, GEOINT and OSINT knowledge up to date
- Engage and collaborate with relevant GEOINT departments and organizations
- Perform other duties as directed
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in open source and social media research, analysis or investigations
- Knowledge on classified and open-source research and data analysis methods and techniques
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques
- Demonstrated ability to research a voluminous amount of databases to identify trends and patterns and prepare graphs, maps, dashboard and other compelling visualizations
