Overview
The UNIDO Representative (UR) will promote and accelerate inclusive and sustainable industrial development in Member States. The role involves representing UNIDO and maintaining relations with stakeholders.
Tasks Summary
- Represent UNIDO in the host country and countries of coverage.
- Maintain close relations with all relevant stakeholders.
- Identify development priorities and donors’ technical and funding priorities.
- Support and/or lead the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of technical cooperation projects and programmes.
- Coordinate and report on UNIDO’s activities.
- Contribute to the development, operationalization, and promotion of regional and sub-regional strategies and policies.
Experience Requirements
P5 grade level experience.
