Overview

Provides administrative support to the Strategic Planning Cell within the Capability Development Directorate, contributing to NATO's warfare development and capability development objectives.


Tasks Summary
  • Provide subject matter expert administrative support to Strategic Planning Cell functions
  • Coordinate and manage internal business processes including Tasker Tracker, MS Teams, team calendar, training, meetings, and support requests
  • Coordinate support to external business processes such as strategic planning, portfolio planning, defence planning, and resource planning meetings
  • Provide support to internal strategic planning/analysis and portfolio planning/analysis business processes
  • Maintain administrative files, SharePoint, and Information sites
  • Support budget and travel planning and administration
  • Support the development and maintenance of the ACT Strategic Capability Development Plan (SCDP) and related reporting
  • Provide subject matter support to business processes for strategic planning and portfolio planning coordination
  • Provide subject matter expert support to SPC engagement with defence planning, resource planning, strategic planning, portfolio alignment, architecture, and capability implementation
  • Support the development of business processes, reporting functions, and analysis for transparency to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support an information and data-driven culture using analysis to generate insights and improve decision-making

Experience Requirements
  • 3 years function related experience with Higher Secondary education and completed higher vocational training in accounting, finance, management, business administration, public administration or related discipline leading to a formal technical or professional certification
  • 5 years post related experience with Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation
  • At least 4 years post related experience in administration
