Overview
The role is responsible for the compilation of data, information analysis, and report designing within a specific project framework.
Tasks Summary
- Support development of a data management system with collection, storage, and sharing workflows
- Collect, analyse, and present data for project reporting, including report design and data visualization using Tableau
- Supervise information management staff
- Implement information management activities in accordance with ITC Policies and Standards
- Support regional ECHO project data management systems
- Engage with stakeholders for data collection and information relevance
- Create visually engaging infographics
- Support effective project implementation and monitoring
- Prepare project status and progress reports
- Generate local level information products and support dissemination
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Identify data gaps and contribute to project proposals
- Apply IOM's data protection principles
Experience Requirements
- Two years of relevant professional experience with a Master's degree; or four years of relevant professional experience with a University degree
- Proven experience on the use of Data Analysis tools, such as Power Bi, Tableau Software
- Experience in Information Management, management and coordination of information flows, data management including collection, storing, processing, and analysing data to generate information products
- Expertise in graphic design software and cutting-edge technologies
- Knowledge of infographics programs such as info.gram, Canva, etc. is an asset
- Excellent design skills, including typography, layout, color theory
- Demonstrated experience skillfully using presentation software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Keynote
- In-depth knowledge of the latest technological developments in information technology and information systems
- Proven skills to analyse statistical information
- Ability to formulate JM-related technical requirements and Operating Procedures
- Ability to translate planning-specifications into technical briefs for data capture and analysis, and vice versa
- Ability to compile and holistically analyse diverse datasets
- Experience with handling confidential data
- Demonstrated team-building and information management skills
- Demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies
- Experience in advanced data visualization and information design skills
- Experience in collaborating with government entities or other relevant stakeholders in data management
Qualification Requirements
- Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Media or Social Sciences or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
- University degree in the above fields
