Overview
Provides security support and advice to UNDP personnel, assets, and operations within a sub-region. Focuses on analyzing threats, assessing risks, and implementing security measures to enable safe program delivery.
Tasks Summary
- Provide support and advice to UNDP Resident Representatives, Deputy Resident Representatives, and other managers regarding safety and security.
- Liaise directly with Resident Representatives on security-related issues.
- Ensure security enables safe UNDP program delivery and activities.
- Provide field security support to Country Offices as and when required.
- Carry out activities to facilitate the safety and security of UNDP personnel.
- Provide focused security coverage to countries with heightened security concerns and significant programmatic activity.
- Act as the first line of UNDP security crisis response in the sub-region.
Experience Requirements
7 year(s) experience with a Master's Degree OR 9 year(s) experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
