Support the implementation of UNICEF's activities to strengthen integrated health services for adolescents and refugees, focusing on mental health and substance use prevention.
Tasks Summary
- Support strengthening MHPSS and substance use prevention among adolescents and youth in health and community services
- Build capacity of specialists for early detection and continuum of care for MH issues and substance abuse
- Strengthen legal and regulatory framework, monitoring system, and financing mechanisms for YFHS and Mobile YK
- Map evidence-based interventions for substance use and addiction prevention among adolescents and youth
- Provide technical, coordination, and advocacy support to MoH, CCMH, and YFHS network
Experience Requirements
- Experience in health and mental health with a focus on refugee response
- Experience in strengthening capacity of cross-sectoral specialists
- Experience in integrated health services through YFHS and CCMH networks
- Experience in mapping programmes for adolescent substance addiction prevention
