Overview
The Resettlement Administrative Intern will assist newly arrived refugees in connecting with services and support the Resettlement team with administrative tasks.
Tasks Summary
- Assist with scheduling appointments for clients (DMV, health check-ups, legal consultations, school enrollments)
- Help prepare and process case files
- Coordinate airport pickups for refugee families
- Assist clients with service enrollment
- Develop guides and learning materials for client use
- Organize long-term projects or resources
- Provide office support including preparing digital case files, writing and emailing on behalf of clients, maintaining supplies, and welcoming guests
Experience Requirements
- 1+ years related work or volunteer experience with a non-profit strongly preferred
- A strong interest in working with a diverse, low-income population is required
Qualification Requirements
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s program focused on Education, International Relations/Development, Social Work, or related field
