Overview
The role will ensure NORCAP projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with donor and organisational requirements. It combines technical leadership with hands-on project management responsibilities.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical support and supervision to Project Managers
- Lead the technical development of project management practices
- Manage projects to deliver objectives within agreed parameters
- Ensure timely and high-quality donor reporting
- Develop and review partner agreements
- Conduct risk assessments
- Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and compliance
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in humanitarian, development, or peacebuilding sectors
- At least 5 years of experience in project management
- Proven experience in grants management, donor compliance, and financial reporting
- Experience in risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement
Qualification Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (social sciences, development studies, or equivalent)
- Project management certification (Prince2 or similar) preferred
