Overview
Contribute to the implementation of a durable solutions strategy by fostering partnerships and strengthening the involvement of refugee communities and their hosts in the design and implementation of solutions strategies.
Tasks Summary
- Provide counselling to refugees and other persons of concern (POC) about their durable solutions needs
- Interview candidates for voluntary repatriation and prepare documentation for their return
- Interview candidates for local integration and prepare appropriate documentation
- Participate in identifying resettlement needs of refugees
- Assist in updating electronic databases for resettlement, voluntary repatriation, and local integration
- Process documentation to ensure POC receive required documents
- Prepare statistical and ad-hoc reports
- Interview and advise on appropriate durable solutions
- Prepare documents relating to durable solutions
- Enter information into available databases
- Support identification and management of risks and opportunities
- Perform other related duties as required
Experience Requirements
- 2 years relevant experience with High School Diploma; or 1 year relevant work experience with Bachelor or equivalent or higher
- Knowledge and experience in RSD and RST procedures is an asset
- Diverse field experience is desirable
- Experience in interviewing is desirable
