Overview
Responsible for maintaining and driving office armoured/soft vehicles, providing reliable and secure driving services for UN AFPs.
Tasks Summary
- Timely and safe driving of UNDSS soft skin and armored vehicles
- Ensure adherence to safe driving behavior and Rules of the Road
- Provide reliable and secure driving services for UN AFPs upon request
- Drive office vehicle for transport of authorized personnel within the city and to regions, including possible overnight trips
- Meet official personnel and visitors at the train station and provide client services related to field travel
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance tasks
- Ensure assigned vehicle is clean and roadworthy
- Maintain daily vehicle logs (mileage, fuel consumption, travel routes, signatures of passengers) and submit to supervisor
- Ensure timely repair and maintenance services for armoured/soft vehicles.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 years (with secondary education) or 1 year (with bachelor’s degree) experience is required.
