Overview

Provide group supervision sessions to IOM staff on the MHPSS project. The aim is to help staff reflect on their interactions with beneficiaries, develop within their roles, and discuss their work in a safe and confidential environment.

Tasks Summary

• Deliver group supervision sessions in one-hour blocks
• Facilitate reflection on work and personal/professional responses
• Identify and mitigate potential consequences of vicarious trauma
• Enable staff to explore and clarify thinking through reflective practice
• Demonstrate respect and encourage full participation
• Provide clear and constructive feedback
• Maintain appropriate boundaries
• Challenge concerning behaviour
• Maintain strict confidentiality

Experience Requirements

Experience of working with vulnerable groups, particularly refugees or vulnerable migrants, is considered an advantage.

Qualification Requirements

Qualified Psychological Therapist / Clinical or Counselling Psychologist / Psychotherapist with supervision qualification and accredited to their professional body. The supervisor should be supervised in relation to their supervision practice and maintain their commitments to their own continuous professional development. The supervisor should be insured.

Remuneration: Payments will take place on a monthly basis, depending on the number of sessions delivered that month.
