Overview
Design and facilitate culturally relevant and inclusive socio-cultural activities to support mental health and psychosocial well-being among migrants. Ensure activities foster resilience, promote emotional healing, and strengthen social cohesion.
Tasks Summary
- Conduct participatory assessments to identify cultural and social preferences
- Design and facilitate diverse socio-cultural activities (film screenings, debates, workshops, celebrations)
- Ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all beneficiaries
- Create safe and welcoming environments
- Align activities with MHPSS objectives
- Document participation, feedback, and impacts
- Submit monthly progress reports and a final report
- Maintain daily presence in the assigned center
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in community-based programming, MHPSS, or socio-cultural initiatives
- Proven expertise in designing and facilitating socio-cultural activities with psychosocial objectives
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree in social sciences, education, psychology, sociology, or related fields
