Overview
Provide support in developing, implementing, and monitoring protection activities at IOM Libya, with a focus on case management for migrants in vulnerable situations, including victims of trafficking.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in programme implementation, coordination, and reporting.
- Inform supervisor on project status, identify gaps, and suggest improvements.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to project staff on case management, advocacy, and protection in emergencies.
- Contribute to donor briefings and meetings.
- Maintain relationships with communities, government entities, NGOs, and partners.
- Support vulnerability screenings and protection assessments.
- Track and follow up on briefs, analysis, and reports.
- Assist in developing and delivering training materials for staff.
Experience Requirements
- Two years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or Master's degree.
- Experience in assistance to vulnerable individuals.
- Experience working with international or non-governmental organizations.
- Experience in project implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, UN agencies, and NGOs.
- Experience supervising staff is an advantage.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or Master’s degree in the above-mentioned fields.
