Overview

Strengthen the capacity of the investment promotion team to develop bankable renewable energy project models and engage investors for financing and investment in developing countries.

Tasks Summary

• Deliver training on assessing and packaging bankable projects in Malawi, Tanzania, or Seychelles, and support final report preparation.
• Identify and evaluate at least one potential bankable project in each of 5 beneficiary countries for pitching at the World Investment Forum 2026.
• Assess project bankability and design finance attraction strategies with investment promotion stakeholders and project owners.
• Deliver online follow-up training and advice to counterparts in each country (max 20 hours).

Experience Requirements

At least 10 years of experience advising public and private sector on issues related to investing in and financing infrastructure projects, including energy projects.

Qualification Requirements

An advanced University degree, Master, in business administration or international finance.
