Overview
Provide technical support to UNICEF programmatic pillars and partners in real-time monitoring and measurement of changes in conditions at regional and/or country level. Support national partners in monitoring the situation of children's and women's rights.
Tasks Summary
- Provide technical support to UNICEF programmatic pillars and partners in monitoring and measuring changes in conditions at regional and/or country level, including monitoring socio-economic trends, and the broader political and institutional context.
- Support national partners in monitoring the situation of children's and women's rights and staying abreast of information from studies and research.
- Support the country office in collecting and interpreting existing data on early warnings to guide program adjustments.
- Provide technical support to ensure UNICEF Mali has the necessary information to report on and advocate for child rights.
Experience Requirements
- Two years of professional experience with field work experience.
- At least one instance of exposure to emergency programs, including emergency preparedness.
- Active participation in a humanitarian crisis response program would be an asset.
- Familiarity with a UN System agency would be an asset.
- Optimal knowledge of basic applications like Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Knowledge of data collection, analysis, and visualization applications/tools like SPSS, KOBO, STATA, R would be an asset.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social sciences, development planning, monitoring and evaluation, research, or statistics.
