Overview
Assist in managing financial resources by monitoring and controlling assets, reserves, funds, supplies, etc. in accordance with IOM rules and regulations. Assist in preparing annual budget submission and revisions.
Tasks Summary
- Assist in managing financial resources
- Assist in preparing annual budget submission and revisions
- Extract and input data from various sources in financial or accounting systems
- Assist providing guidance in accounting, budget and financial related issues
- Assist in reviewing staff projectization
- Review all types of payments
- Assist in the review and clearing of monthly common office costs
- Verify vendor claims for accuracy
- Perform claim verifications against documentation
- Assist in the preparation of budget, accounting, financial, statistical reports
- Provide assistance to all staff services
- Ensure proper and systematic completion of all posted payments
- Provide regular and ad hoc financial information
- Perform other related duties
Experience Requirements
- Five years of relevant experience with a High School diploma; or, three years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finances, or related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Previous experience in SAP and Oracle is a distinct advantage
- Strong skills in Power BI are desirable
- Prior work experience in the private sector, public sector and/or international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting
