Overview

This internship is located within the Programme Management Unit (PMU) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). The role supports the coordination of programme management aspects including planning, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.

Tasks Summary

• Assist in preparation of the UNECE annual report on technical cooperation
• Assist in planning and reporting of UNECE technical cooperation activities
• Assist in drafting country briefs
• Draft briefing notes, summaries of meetings, and presentations
• Support to UNECE programme planning, reporting and evaluation
• Support tasks related to the work of the Programme Management Unit and Programme Management & Support Services Division

Qualification Requirements

• Student in the final year of a first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent
• Completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme or equivalent

Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in English

Contract Duration: 5 months flexible

Work Modality: in person but can be adjusted if necessary

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
