Overview
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with UNESCO standards and donor requirements, leading on communication and visibility actions, and strengthening partnerships with CSOs and stakeholders active in the cultural and creative industries.
Tasks Summary
- Support planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities
- Follow up on heritage rehabilitation, cultural development, and CCI support activities
- Contribute to monitoring field activities and data collection
- Assist in preparing technical documents and donor reports
- Lead development and implementation of communication and visibility plan
- Supervise production of communication materials
- Maintain communication with stakeholders
- Support documentation of project achievements
- Contribute to design and implementation of capacity-building programmes
- Support coordination of grants, training workshops, and events
- Support monitoring of CSO and SME performance
- Facilitate cooperation between UNESCO and stakeholders
- Contribute to strengthening partnerships
- Support high-level missions and meetings
- Assist in drafting terms of reference and contractual documents
- Support monitoring of contracts
- Support financial and administrative processes
Experience Requirements
- Experience in cultural heritage rehabilitation and cultural development
- Experience in youth employability through heritage and CCIs
- Experience in visibility, communications, and advocacy
- Experience in capacity development and support to CSOs and SMEs in the culture sector
- Experience in planning, coordination, monitoring, reporting, and partnership engagement
Qualification Requirements
Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in cultural management, communications, international development, international relations, social sciences or related fields, or Bachelor’s degree combined with a m
