Overview
Supports the implementation of operational services for digital initiatives under the guidance of the UHC Coordinator. Coordinates activities and ensures the delivery of client-oriented services.
Tasks Summary
- Manage the maintenance lifecycle of the Maternal and Child Health Companion App, including bug monitoring, testing updates, and patch deployment.
- Maintain Online Learning Systems (LMS) for orientation and e-learning courses, managing user databases and troubleshooting issues.
- Analyze digital usage data to provide recommendations for improving user retention.
- Lead the conversion of physical knowledge products into interactive digital formats.
- Design and produce digital assets, including WHO characters, to replace static imagery.
- Re-engineer social media campaigns into "Digital-First" campaigns using multimedia formats.
- Act as a technical liaison between WHO health experts and external IT vendors.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on software deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with WHO cybersecurity requirements and data privacy protocols.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of five years of proven experience in digital innovation, communication, and media.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between technical teams and software developers.
- Experience in project management and IT-related projects (desirable).
- Previous work with UN agencies or international NGOs, particularly in digital compliance and cybersecurity workflows (desirable).
- Experience in web design, content production, writing and editing (additional asset).
- Proficiency in photo and video-editing software (additional asset).
Qualification Requirements
- A recognized university degree in public relations, communications, or information technology, or a relevant field.
- Recognized master’s degree in computer sciences or public administration (desirable).
