Overview

Supports logistics and operations units in the WHO Health Emergencies Incident Management System. Provides tactical means for setting and managing premises, ensuring timely supply of commodities, and offering health logistics support.

Tasks Summary

• Prepare staff transport masterplan
• Receive and review transport requests
• Liaise with Security Unit for movement clearance
• Determine route plans, communication plans, and timetables
• Prepare backup transport plans
• Follow deconfliction procedures
• Draft convoy/transport plan procedures
• Support weekly staff movement planning and vehicle pooling
• Support vehicle dispatch
• Support Travel Request issuance for drivers
• Maintain driver shift roster
• Support driver mission briefs and debriefs
• Follow up on contract portfolio (vehicle rental, insurance, fuel)
• Support rental vehicle supplier invoice validation
• Ensure Fleet KPIs follow up
• Set up MOVCON room
• Identify taxi agencies and support call for bids

Experience Requirements

At least 5 years of relevant experience in administration and/or logistics. Relevant experience in WHO or another UN agency and non-governmental organization during humanitarian response is an asset.

Qualification Requirements

Completion of secondary education or equivalent. Higher education from an accredited educational institution is desirable.

Languages Required: Expert knowledge of English and Ukrainian

Languages Preferred: Knowledge of any other official UN language

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: Annual base salary starting at USD 19,696 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
