Overview
Traineeship position focused on financial stewardship and project support within an Area Program. Aims to build capacity for future finance roles and provide experience in project implementation and child well-being advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand WVV core values, missions, and policies.
- Understand AP plans, log-frames, and technical models.
- Provide administrative financial services ensuring compliance, quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Collaborate with team members on account analysis codes, cash advances, EER, and payment requests.
- Learn and practice operational procedures for planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, closure, and audit.
- Ensure adequacy and correctness of supporting documents for payments and voucher preparation.
- Verify quality and accuracy of quotations, goods, and services.
- Assist other projects and APs with cross-reviews, cross-audits, and training new staff.
- Collaborate with team members to help AP reach objectives.
- Carry out other tasks as requested by AP manager.
Required Experience
- Experience in community development or with NGO.
- Experience in capacity building for local stakeholders/partners.
- Experience in accounting and finance.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance
