Overview
The Structural Engineer will support the implementation of the "Urban Qualification in a Key Neighborhood of Belo Horizonte" project, ensuring the good execution of the work programme.
Tasks Summary
- Set parameters, standards, and requirements for structural engineering projects
- Set guidelines for evaluating technical studies and structural projects for buildings and bridges
- Evaluate and review basic structural engineering projects regarding structural systems, sizing, executive techniques, materials specifications, technological tests, and control
- Review of Program, layout, 3D modeling, façade elements, and preliminary architectural design and basic projects
- Prepare reports and technical analysis on basic architectural and engineering projects
- Apply advanced analysis techniques to propose solutions to problems related to architecture, engineering, and complementary projects
- Analyze, review, and propose changes to the technical drawings to ensure quality standards
- Provide technical guidance to designers, planners, engineers, and architects
- Collaborate with other team members to prepare necessary technical documents
- Participate in meetings with other members of the technical team
- Perform any other technical support tasks as required
- Complete all indicated courses and training activities
- Comply with United Nations security mechanisms
