Tasks Summary

Associazione InformaGiovani organises activities such as information sessions, training courses and seminars on EU programmes, international workcamps, youth exchanges and volunteering teams. Volunteers will assist in the ONLINE PLACEMENT of Italian and foreign volunteers, MANAGE INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEER PROJECTS as campleaders, PREPARE NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY PROGRAMMES (logistics, agendas,..), perform ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS, create and run WORKCAMPS using non-formal methods. They will also take part in information sessions at the University of Palermo and in schools as Eurodesk representatives, while carrying out a PERSONAL PROJECT during their mobility. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Accommodation: the flat, shared with other international volunteers, consists of 3 double-rooms, common living room, kitchen and 2 shared bathrooms. This is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Accommodation is located near the city centre, and is well-connected with public transportation. Local transport: 3-month bus pass. Individual support: monthly cash allowance (Euro 6,00 per day) Food: monthly cash allowance (Euro 150,00 per month) Travel costs: based on ESC guide according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator. Training during the activity On arrival training and Mid-Term Evaluation organized by Italian National Agency (online training) + Online Linguistic Support (Italian language). Participant profile We are looking for volunteers aged between 21-30 years old with previous experiences in participating in workcamps, volunteering activities in country and abroad, with a strong interest in the youth sector, in discovering NGO-life inside and outside the office, in promoting youth participation, volunteerism and social inclusion, interested and motivated to use non formal education methods. Good skills in using office management software, including Excell, Word, Adobe platform, etc are welcome. Previous international volunteering experience is welcome.
