Overview

Provide high-level expertise in Gender Based Violence (GBV) and gender to offer operational and technical advice on GBV issues, ensure systematic integration of gender perspective and GBV sensitivity in projects and documents, and strengthen capacities of staff and partners on GBV prevention and response.

Tasks Summary

• Provide operational and technical guidance on GBV programmes.
• Draft or revise project proposals, policy documents, training tools, or operational manuals integrating gender and GBV perspective.
• Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops on GBV prevention, response, and gender integration.
• Conduct studies, situation analyses, or rapid assessments related to GBV and gender.
• Contribute to the development of gender and GBV sensitive indicators and participate in monitoring/evaluation missions.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in GBV, gender programming, or human rights.
• Proven experience in developing GBV prevention and response strategies, policies, or programmes.
• Experience in facilitating trainings and workshops on GBV/Gender topics.
• Experience in emergency or post-conflict contexts (an asset).

Qualification Requirements

• University Degree (Bachelor or Graduate) in social sciences, law, public health, gender studies, international development, or any other relevant field with 5 years of relevant experience is required;
• University Degree (Master or equivalent) in social sciences, law, public health, gender studies, international development, or any other relevant field with 2 years of relevant experience is required.
