Overview
The Protocol Assistant is responsible for managing and facilitating official correspondence and communication between the Organization and government institutions, diplomatic missions, and relevant stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with protocols.
Tasks Summary
- Gather information to support drafting of documents and reports.
- Respond to queries and escalate where appropriate.
- Support processing and managing routine administrative and financial tasks.
- Provide revision and proof-reading services for standard documents.
- Maintain set standard systems and files.
- Identify simple discrepancies in statistics and data.
- Take responsibility for data integrity.
- Provide guidance on routine business support methods and practices to junior colleagues.
Experience Requirements
Four or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
Qualification Requirements
Completion of secondary school education.
