Tasks Summary

The Local School Complex in Napachanie (Zespół Szkolno-Przedszkolny in Napachanie) is a small educational place which consists of public elementary school and kindergarten. Our school is located near Poznań – a city in Great Poland region ( Wielkopolska ). The main goal of the team working in our school is to promote comprehensive education focused on skill development through traditional methods, together with the use of non-formal, practical, and interdisciplinary education. This approach takes into account the individual characteristics of each student and is based on the collaboration of teachers, parents, and children. Volunteers will work with children and youth (5 to 14 years old). Their tasks will consist of assisting in different classes and school activities, preparation of materials and decoration, participation in various events of the local community. There will also be a space to share with the children volunteer’s personal interests and passions. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The volunteer will be accomodated in a single room in agrotourism or in a private apartment. Meals: The school commits to providing volunteers with lunch in the school canteen. Volunteers can purchase food for breakfast and dinner in available supermarkets (Dino, Biedronka, Lidl) and local shops. In the Rokietnica municipality, where Napachanie is located, a bus transportation system is available. The municipality also has numerous cycling paths (depending on the accommodation location, the volunteer may commute to school by bicycle, which will be provided by the school). Training during the activity The volunteers will participate in the on-arrival and mid-term training organized by the National Agency. More training will be offered within the Leading Organisation, Stowarzyszenie Jeden Świat in Poznań. Participant profile We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic volunteer ( who is between 18-30 years old) to join our elementary school community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, an interest in working with children, and a collaborative spirit. The volunteer will assist in classes and other activities so a good level of English or motivation to learn Polish, are more than welcome. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution to education while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and vibrant school community.
