We are a coordinating organisation that is looking for young people who would like to volunteer in Christian Catholic NGO called Greek-Catholic Roma Mission. Nowadays we are looking for long-term (1 year, 6 months or 3 months) volunteers, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity and are willing to share those values among young people, especially Roma people. Also, we are looking for someone who has skills to create posters, videos, graphics in general. Also someone who is capable to work with young people, to lead small Christian group and help to organise and prepare events. Please, do not write motivational statement using AI. Volunteering starting dates can be discussed with us. This is our webpage (in Slovak): https://romskamisia.sk/ Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Travel costs will be reimbursed up to the distance band, in according to the rules of Erasmus+. Volunteers will be accommodated either in the flat in centre called Savore Sigord close to the city of Prešov. Volunteers will receive pocket money as well as money for food. They can have lunch in our organisation or arrange their own food. Training during the activity Volunteers will have onboarding training in our organisation. On-arrival and mid-term training will be provided by our National Agency. Participant profile We are looking for young people at the age from 18 till 30, preferably those who have positive attitude to Christianity, but we are open to anyone who is open and willing to learn new things and work with teenagers, children and also adults. At least communication level of English is required. Previous volunteer experience and experience in work with children, young people or social work is welcomed.
