Overview

The role is responsible for organizing and providing conflict mediation training, bookkeeping, management, and conducting beneficiary assessment activities, as well as supporting data collection and follow-up coaching for economic recovery interventions.

Tasks Summary
  • Organize and conduct training and workshops on conflict analysis, bookkeeping, management etc.
  • Establish female producer groups in the targeted districts and provide regular training sessions.
  • Support to designing and/or updating training methodology, content, and materials of the training.
  • Maintaining regular communication with community leaders, particularly women and youths on economic recovery activities.
  • Working closely with DRC Officers for arranging, conducting and following up on training and other activities.
  • Conduct regular beneficiary assessments in the targeted districts of the project.
  • Ensure follow-up and support to communities in relation to the key activities
  • Establishing and maintaining linkages among relevant stakeholders particularly female producer groups.
  • Support the EcRec TL to generate qualitative and quantitative data to document milestones of project progress and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly updates as required.
  • Assist EcRec TL in conducting regular analysis, monitoring and reporting.
  • Keep the EcRec TL update on the progress of the activities and any issues that may arise during the course of the implementation that need senior officers’ attention.
  • Collect and compile villages/district data and information into agreed system, including performing quality checks to ensure information is correct and adequate.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the EcRec Manager and EcRec TL.
Experience Requirements
  • At least 3 years of work experience in community engagement/mobilization, trainings, MSMEs support or other activities related to the responsibilities of the position.
  • Demonstrated experience in training, planning, reporting, and leading the team to implement economic recovery projects properly as well as representing DRC in meetings/trainings.
  • Working experience with communities especially in implementing economic recovery programs.
  • Good management and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks; proven self-initiative and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be able to understand the context of Nuristan
Qualification Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Social Sciences, or any other relevant degree
