Atelier Wolimierz Pobiedna, Poland Volunteer opportunity: ALTERNATIVE SPACE - VOLUNTEERING
Atelier Wolimierz is a unique place in the village of Pobiedna, Poland, located in the Jizera Mountains. We have been operating for many years, organizing a variety of events throughout the years. Our passion stems from a deep-rooted belief that participation in the arts fosters societal advancement. We strive to foster creativity, promote inclusivity, and combat discrimination, all while bridging the gap between urban and rural communities. Our initiatives aim to level the playing field for those living outside city centers and prevent cultural isolation among rural residents. During your time at Atelier Wolimierz, you will have the opportunity to: Help with our permaculture garden, learning how to grow food sustainably and in harmony with nature, assist with the preparation and organization of our three upcoming festivals and Help with improving our space and making small renovations with recycling materials. www.facebook.com/atelierwolimierz www.instagram.com/atelierwolimierz/ Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The main goal of this program is to give our volunteers a taste of alternative community living, away from the hustle and bustle of traditional city life. Volunteers will enjoy comfortable accommodation in campers or singel rooms. In addition to a monthly allowance, volunteers will receive travel reimbursement up to the EU-calculated limit for their country of origin, as well as comprehensive Henner health insurance. To minimize our environmental impact, we encourage volunteers to travel to Atelier Wolimierz via eco-friendly options such as trains or buses. Training during the activity In the beginning of your stay with us you learn how everything works and you will develop your skills on the way! You will also participate in the On-Arrival and Mid-term training with all volunteers in Poland. During your stay you will gain knowledge and skills connected with: production of the Festival events, organic gardening, environmental activities, building with recycling materials, DIY. Participant profile We are looking for volunteers with the European Solidarity Corps program! Aged 21 – 30, who would like to help us to create our dream. We are open to young people with fewer opportunities, who may face social, geographical or economic obstacles, health problems or disability, cultural differences or educational challenges. Volunteers should have Intermediate level of English Communication and they must be registered on the European Solidarity Corps platform. Become a volunteer – get engaged in our activities!
