Overview

The Administrative and Travel Clerk will provide administrative support to UNDP and other UN agencies, focusing on travel coordination and related administrative services.


Tasks Summary
  • Assist in day-to-day administrative tasks, file management, and correspondence preparation.
  • Manage office supplies, coordinate procurement, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, workshops, and events.
  • Coordinate staff travel, including flight bookings, accommodation, and visa processing.
  • Prepare and follow up on travel requests and financial documents.
  • Process travel claims and maintain travel records.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Generate periodic reports on administrative and travel activities.

Experience Requirements
  • At least 4 years of relevant administrative and programme support experience with secondary education OR 1 year with a bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc).
  • Advance knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages.
  • Experience in handling web-based management systems.
  • Knowledge of Protocol correspondences and Travel Procedures is required.
  • Experience in workshop or training planning and organizing is required.
  • Ability to drive and travel within Jerusalem and West Bank.

Qualification Requirements
  • Secondary Education preferably with specialized certification in Administration, Accounting or Finance OR
  • First-level university degree (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in Business or Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, or related field.
Other Details

Languages Required: Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.

Contract Duration: 1 Year with Possibility for extension
